CAM · VOC Emissions
Volatile organic compound emission testing to support the CAM requirements applicable to your product. Depending on the agreed programme, emission chamber measurements may follow EN 16516 and the ISO 16000 series.
The emissions report does not demonstrate the compliance to all the CAM: you should check also the other requirements for the specific product category.
French market
French VOC / VOC
The assessment of the emissions to the French classification of construction products and decoration: A+, A, B, or C. The class depends on the results and the parameters set by the scheme.
The programme may include emission measurements after 28 days. An A+ classification depends on the results and cannot be guaranteed when booking the test.
Voluntary certification
Indoor Air Comfort® Gold
A Eurofins certification programme for products with low indoor emissions. It includes emission testing and production control checks, with surveillance and repeat testing as required by the scheme.
Testing alone does not constitute certification: the issuance of the certificate and use of the trademark will depend on the assessment and approval of the competent body.
From the product to the test program
We help you collect the technical data sheet (TDS), safety data sheet (SDS), application data and sample information. If several schemes are needed, we assess a coordinated programme with the laboratory. The tests, requirements covered and final documents must be agreed for each case.

We review the data and documents. Safety Colors administration confirms the quotation, terms and timescales in writing before accepting the order.

Choose the model according to the type of product or system under test. CAM, French VOCS and Indoor Air Comfort® Gold, are the test programs or certification to indicate in the request and agreed with the Safety Colors.
Paints, coatings and primers
Paints, coatings, and primers v1.2 — model dedicated to paints, coatings and primers. Also collects the amount applied, number of coats, drying between coats, yield and density.

The original file contains some options already selected: ricontrollale according to your system. In the sheet Combined Report – layer 3the cell C11 to the date of production contains an invalid reference. Returns and manually verifies the correct date of the third layer before sending; it also controls the dates shown in the other Combined Report.
Other products applied in the wet state
Wet applied products v1.1 — the general model for the products applied in the wet state, to be used according to the type and the program agreed with the Safety Colors.

Fill in all the relevant sheets and check the information automatically before sending. If you have any doubts about the choice of the model, use the questionnaire or contact us.
Send the completed forms via email
Attach to e-mail, Excel, on the data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS). Use a form for each product or multi-layer system. Wait for the confirmation of the Safety Colors on the program, documentation and shipment of the samples.
The questionnaire sends an order request to Safety Colors. It does not confirm a purchase, require payment or automatically start testing or shipment to the laboratory. Our administration team will confirm the price and timescale. Any 28-day measurement period does not represent the total service turnaround time.
Request a test or start the IAC Gold certification process
Service for companies and professionals. Fill out a request for each product; if the technical data is not yet available, please report it in the notes. In the notes indicates the Excel model chosen; for multi-layer systems describe the sequence of the layers, and the conditions of application. The questionnaire collects the preliminary information and does not replace the Excel and signatures required by the laboratory.
