The Safety Colors platform is ready: request a demo

We developed SC DataBank to organise product information and documents in a project tailored to your company. Explore the demo and find out how to prepare the data for your product range.

When will the DPP become mandatory? The timetable depends on the product category and applicable legislation. Our new page explains the different requirements under the ESPR, the Construction Products Regulation and the Batteries Regulation.

PPWR · Packaging and documentation

Customer PPWR requests: four checks before signing

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 applies from 12 August 2026, with different deadlines for individual requirements. When answering customer questionnaires, start with the packaging you actually use and the documents available.

  • Clarify the role of the company in the supply chain.
  • Identify the products, formats and components covered by the request.
  • Check the applicable requirements and the deadlines.
  • Collect supplier data sheets and declarations to support your answers.

A commercial response does not replace the required technical documentation or EU declaration of conformity. Safety Colors helps you review requests and organise the data relevant to your situation.

Professional update · ADR 2027

ADR 2027: continuing professional development at Safety Colors

On 23 October 2026, Angela Santoro attended the three-hour webinar on the changes introduced by ADR 2027, organised by Flashpoint Learning. A certificate of attendance was issued after the event.

At Safety Colors, continuing professional development supports our daily work with businesses handling chemicals, paints and dangerous goods. It helps us understand regulatory changes and prepare the checks relevant to our clients’ activities.

Would you like to review your company’s ADR needs? We start with the products and operations involved to identify the issues that need attention.

Discuss your ADR requirements with us

From post of October 31, 2026 · BPR biocidal products and PMC

Biocides and PMC: what does your label really communicate?

Product names, images and graphics should clearly communicate the product’s function and intended use, avoiding confusion with other categories. Before a reprint or launch, we suggest three practical checks:

  • Compare the latest authorised label with the artwork intended for printing.
  • Review the name, images and messages from the user’s perspective.
  • Check consistency across the packaging, website and sales literature, involving both regulatory and marketing teams.

Keeping these materials in one file helps identify inconsistencies and prioritise revisions.
