Our relationship with the network EcoVadis
Angela Santoro adheres to the EcoVadis Consultants Network from November 2025. The network provides consultants with the resources and updates to accompany companies in the path of sustainability.
Safety Colors plays with the consulting services described in this page. The evaluation and assignment of the ratings are made by EcoVadis in an independent way.
What currency EcoVadis
EcoVadis analyzes the quality management system of corporate sustainability through policies, actions and results. The questionnaire is customized according to activity, size and location of the firm; the relevant criteria are selected within the four themes.
Environment
Management of energy, emissions, water, materials, chemicals and waste, in accordance with the criteria applicable to the company.
Labor and human rights
Health and safety, working conditions, training and protection of the rights of the people.
Ethics
Business conduct, prevention of the unlawful conduct and the responsible management of information.
Sustainable procurement
Integration of environmental and social aspects in the selection and management of suppliers.

The path to Safety Colors, in six steps
- Definition of the perimeter. We examine the corporate entity, sites, industry size, demand of the client and available maturity. We identify the internal person and the offices to be involved.
- Analysis of the initial state. We compare existing practices, the questionnaire available and any scorecard. Prepare a map of the evidence and of the information is missing.
- Collection and organization of documents. We verify the relevance, dates, coverage, and consistency of the evidence. Each document remains attributable to the company and to the activities actually carried on.
- Support to the questionnaire. Assist the referees in the reading of the questions, the association of the evidence and in the consistency check. The company verifies and approves the answers and the sharing settings before posting.
- Reading of the results. After the evaluation EcoVadis, we analyze the company's strengths and areas of improvement identified by the scorecard.
- Improvement plan. Set priorities, responsible, times, and indicators, and we concur periodic checks and preparation for the next revaluation.
The work starts from the documents and processes, the actual of the company. Any new policies and procedures need to be adopted, implemented and supported by evidence: EcoVadis does not accept documents that are created only to satisfy the questionnaire.

An accompaniment to the assessment
To manage the collection of documents and preparation of responses with the company representatives.
We deliver: log documentary, matrix questions–evidence, and list of checks before sending.
Continuous improvement
In order to transform the results in the tasks that are assigned and verified.
We deliver: action plan for responsible and deadlines, indicators framework and timetable of the review agreed.
The mode can be activated individually or integrated. The prior and the times are defined after the examination of the perimeter, sites involved, the maturity of the system, the available documents and the expiration of the questionnaire. Any subscription EcoVadis is separate from the compensation consulting Safety Colors.
What documents can we go?
Depending on the themes enabled, they can be useful company policies and procedures, code of ethics, training records, environmental indicators and health and safety, criteria for evaluation of suppliers, relevant certifications, and reports have already been used in the management. For the chemical and paints, we also consider the processes for the management of chemicals and waste, when relevant: the mere availability of the SDS does not describe the entire system of sustainability.
Frequently asked questions
It is a certification of the product?
The rating EcoVadis regards the system of management of the sustainability of the entity being evaluated. It is not an environmental certification of a single product and not a substitute for regulatory audits or certifications.
It is possible to guarantee a medal, or a score?
The service aims to improve the quality of processes and the evidence. The score and the eventual recognition depend on the independent evaluation EcoVadis; are not guaranteed by the advice.
You can also without a previous evaluation?
Yes. The initial analysis is needed to clarify the needs, the available documents and the priority activities. When the questionnaire is available, the work is adapted to the criteria actually activated.
Who should be involved in the company?
A point of contact, coordinating the project with direction and, according to the perimeter, environment and safety, human resources, purchasing and the administration. Safety Colors organizes the path with the responsible persons identified by the company.
